THE STORY BEHIND THE 2026 SLEIGH RIDES EDITION
This year's collection began with a little Christmas imagination.
I imagined the North Pole long ago—not simply Santa's workshop, but an entire little village filled with old-fashioned shops, makers and Christmas traditions.
And surely in a place like that, there would have been sleigh rides.
I imagined an old wooden sign hanging somewhere in the North Pole village, inviting visitors to bundle up for a winter sleigh ride through the snow for just 25¢.
That little imaginary piece of North Pole history became the inspiration for my Sleigh Rides 25¢ Santa Hat Tree Topper.
I designed the vintage-inspired Sleigh Rides 25¢ artwork especially for this edition, then printed, sealed and individually hand cut each tag before attaching it to the hat with rustic twine and a safety pin.
Like the other pieces in my 2026 collection, I wanted this topper to feel as though it might have been discovered in an old North Pole Christmas shop—handmade,wonderfully aged and filled with little details collected over many Christmases.

WHAT MAKES THE 2026 SLEIGH RIDES EDITION SPECIAL
This year's topper features a rich primitive red Santa hat, individually stained and grunged by hand to create its aged, timeworn character.
The design is finished with four large heavily rusted jingle bells and my original Sleigh Rides 25¢ hang tag. The tag is attached simply with rustic twine and a safety pin, giving the hat the look of an old piece that might have come straight from a North Pole mercantile or sleigh-riding stand many Christmases ago.
I designed the vintage-inspired Sleigh Rides 25¢ artwork exclusively for this collection. Each tag is individually printed, sealed and hand cut before being attached by hand.
Inside, the hat is finished with the premium candy-cane country Christmas fabric lining and The Holly Jolly Old Hat Co. label created for my 2026 collection.
