This Independence 250 Years sign was designed to capture that spirit of celebration—marking this milestone year in a way that feels both joyful and familiar. Inspired by the classic bomb pop popsicle, the design carries those iconic colors and that sense of carefree summer days, when celebrations stretch from bright afternoons into firework-filled nights. It has the feeling of something you might have seen hanging outside a general store or displayed along a porch during a town celebration—bright, proud, and full of life. A piece meant to be brought out year after year, but especially meaningful as we celebrate 250 years of independence. Handcrafted Details Each sign is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted in my studio, then finished with layered distressing and aging techniques to create an authentically worn, timeworn appearance. It is finished with a rusty wire hanger and a stained cheesecloth tie, adding to its primitive character and giving it the look of a well-loved piece that has been displayed season after season. Designed for indoor decorative use, this piece is ideal for porch-inspired styling, entryways, kitchens, and gathering spaces within the home. Soft, muted tones and aged detailing give this piece a warm antique character that blends beautifully with primitive, farmhouse, and early American-inspired homes. Design & Construction The vintage-style artwork is printed on heavy paper cardstock and hand-applied to a quality craft plywood base—never vinyl or a sticker. Each sign is sealed with a soft matte protective finish to preserve the aged look while protecting the surface. The back is hand-painted and fitted with a metal sawtooth hanger for easy wall display. Edges are carefully sanded and antiqued to create a rustic patina. Listing includes the sign only. Wreaths and other decorative props are not included.
