This Americana market mini crate is an exclusive display design of This Old Primitive Farm, thoughtfully created and hand-finished in my studio.
Designed as a mini primitive mercantile shelf display, this patriotic arrangement is inspired by early farm stands, timeworn market bins, and nostalgic Americana décor. It brings warmth, texture, and old-fashioned charm to hutches, shelves, counters, and tabletop vignettes.
DESCRIPTION
This handmade Americana crate features a carefully styled arrangement of cinnamon grunged star bowl fillers, aged to create a softly worn, timeworn appearance that complements the vintage-inspired eagle “In God We Trust America” crate design.
The wooden crate is finished with a primitive, aged appearance, featuring a nostalgic eagle image that evokes early American pride and country heritage. Styled as a complete vignette, the arrangement includes stained cheesecloth, a red ticking-style fabric lining, and natural filler textures that add depth and primitive character.
Each element is thoughtfully placed to create a cohesive, rustic display reminiscent of early American mercantile décor.
Each piece is individually finished, allowing for subtle variations in aging, texture, and tone that are intentional and part of the handmade aesthetic.
Design Details
Stars are finished using my own signature cinnamon grunge formula, developed in my studio for a rich, timeworn primitive look.
