Primitive Valentine Cherub Shelf Sitter – Handmade Rustic Farmhouse Decor
This primitive Valentine cherub shelf sitter is a handcrafted decorative accent created in my studio with a soft, timeworn farmhouse feel. Designed to complement rustic and primitive Valentine décor, this piece adds charm and character to shelves, mantels, tiered trays, or seasonal displays.
The cherub features a sealed canvas front mounted to thin basswood and is set on a solid wood base measuring approximately 5.5 inches x 1.5 inches. The solid wood base is hand-painted and distressed by hand for an aged, primitive finish. The base includes a distressed wooden spool and a decorative distressed heart, all finished by hand for an aged, vintage look.
Each piece is carefully assembled and intentionally distressed so no two are exactly alike.
