This primitive wood envelope set is an original design, hand cut, carved, and painted in my studio with an intentionally aged, timeworn finish.
Each envelope is individually hand cut from wood, with carved detailing to create the look of vintage love letters. The fronts feature carved envelope lines, while the back side includes a faux carved stamped seal detail as part of the primitive design. The finish is hand painted and softly distressed for an old-world, collected look.
This listing is for a set of three (3) wooden envelopes in the style shown. Each piece is handcrafted, so no two sets will be exactly alike. Variations in wood grain, carving marks, distressing, and paint finish are part of the charm and character of handmade primitive décor.
