This Campfire Marshmallows Spring Edition crate is an exclusive original design of This Old Primitive Farm, thoughtfully created and handcrafted in my studio.
This mini, shelf-size primitive display crate is designed as a small-scale statement piece for hutches, shelves, and tabletop vignettes. Inspired by early general store candy bins and nostalgic campfire treats — with a subtle nod to springtime whimsy — it brings warmth, texture, and old-fashioned charm to farmhouse and cabin décor.
DESCRIPTION
This handmade Campfire Marshmallows Spring Edition display is an exclusive original design of This Old Primitive Farm, inspired by early mercantile candy crates and timeworn Americana décor.
The wooden crate is hand-painted, distressed, and antiqued, then finished with small wooden feet for added primitive character.
Styled as a complete vignette, this spring variation features:
• Three faux bunny marshmallows, hand-painted and distressed in my studio
• Brown paper nest base
• Natural crinkle paper filler for added seasonal texture
• Stained cheesecloth accent for softness and depth
The bunny marshmallows are lightly aged for subtle variation, creating a nostalgic campfire feel while maintaining a clean hand-finished appearance.
The label artwork, crate design, and seasonal display concept are exclusive original designs of This Old Primitive Farm and were created and developed in my studio. Each element was thoughtfully designed to reflect early mercantile packaging and nostalgic campfire charm.
Each piece is individually finished in my studio and will vary slightly, reflecting the natural variations and aged finishes that are part of the handmade process.
