This is a mini, shelf-size primitive display crate, designed as a small-scale statement piece for shelves, hutches, and tabletop displays.
Exclusive original design of This Old Primitive Farm – Limited Edition
This limited edition primitive Valentine / early spring crate display is an exclusive design created and finished by my shop. Inspired by early general store décor and vintage candy shop styling, each piece is handcrafted through a multi-step, hands-on process to achieve its timeworn, antique character.
The wooden crate features my own original artwork, designed and hand-applied directly onto the crate surface. Each crate is hand-painted, distressed, and antiqued, giving it a soft, aged primitive appearance.
Inside the crate are six hand-painted and distressed plaster hearts, each individually finished to create an authentically worn, vintage look. The interior is carefully styled with hand-distressed brown paper, stained cheesecloth, and distressed fabric lace, creating layered texture and old-world charm.
This design is part of a small, limited edition run. While additional pieces may be created, quantities will remain intentionally limited, and each crate will display its own unique variations from the hand-finishing process.
This is a finished, ready-to-display decorative accent designed for shelves, hutches, mantels, or tabletop arrangements—perfect for collectors of primitive, rustic, and farmhouse décor.
