This piece begins with a salvaged egg carton, carefully distressed and aged for an authentic timeworn look. Inside are six standard-size foam eggs, each hand-finished with cinnamon grunge and soft, muted glittered tones for a subtle, antique shimmer.
The eggs are nestled in real dried grasses, partially adhered to hold their shape while still keeping a natural, gathered feel. The carton is wrapped in hand coffee-stained cheesecloth and finished with an aged hang tag, hand-stamped with the words “eggs 5¢” for a nostalgic, vintage-inspired touch.
Each piece is handmade and one-of-a-kind, with natural variations in aging, color, and texture—no two will ever be exactly alike.
